The Fire Protection Industry (ODS & SGG) Board’s communication and awareness strategy focuses on four high risk industry sectors – building, marine, mining and aviation. The objective of the strategy is to raise awareness of the fire protection industry permit scheme, legislative requirements and to improve general knowledge around scheduled extinguishing substances used in the industry.
