Special EAHL

In rare circumstances, the Fire Protection Industry (ODS & SGG) Board (FPIB) may grant a special EAHL or special circumstances exemption which allows for the handling of scheduled ODS & SGG extinguishing agents.

The special EAHL entitles a person to carry out work at a specified kind of place (for example, an off-shore drilling platform) and/or on specified fire protection equipment (for example, aviation or maritime equipment). Licence conditions apply to the special EAHL. See the licence conditions page for more information.

Special and unique circumstances must be proven by the applicant for the FPIB to justify the granting of a special circumstances exemption. For more information on either of these permits, please contact the FPIB via email [email protected] or by phone on 1300 731 922

We're working to protect the environment by minimising emission of scheduled extinguishing agents
