Welcome to the Field Engagement Program!
The Fire Protection Industry (ODS & SGG) Board (FPIB) delivers the Field Engagement Program to strengthen education and support permit holders across Australia. Through site visits known as Permit Condition Checks, our Field Engagement Team meets directly with businesses and individuals to provide education, confirm permit requirements are being met, and promote best practice in the handling of extinguishing agents.
The Board sees this as not only a permit condition check, but an invaluable opportunity to observe the operational aspects of the industry at the grassroots level. The team is committed to collaborating with the industry to refine the permit scheme and ultimately contribute to the reduction of emissions.
